"Perfect accommodation for a couple or small family to enjoy North Devon"

10.0

The cottage is probably the best holiday accommodation we have experienced in terms of facilities - everything you could want for self-catering had been provided. The cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious; without being intrusive, the hosts were very helpful and thoughtful, going out of their way to help us sort out a problem with our car. Very good location for coastal walks and visiting sites such as Clovelly, Boscastle or Tintagel.

It is hard to think of anything that was missing: everything we wanted for a comfortable stay was provided.

"Beautiful, tranquil quiet holiday cottage"

10.0

This is a superb venue. The cottage is beautiful. We needed a restore of the batteries, leisurely and quiet break. The location where a car is needed is within a short distance to eateries, towns and beaches. Its clean and the hosts catered for everything to make the stay a home from home, including the bear necessities like tea and coffee, milk. If your a walker, there are plenty of routes. If you surf, then a 30 min drive gets you there. Cant fault this cottage.

"Feeling at home in a beautiful, relaxing surrounding with a breathtaking coastline nearby"

10.0

We felt perfectly at home. In the beautiful cottage there was everything we needed or ever might have needed. Never had such a well maintained and thoughtfully equipped accomodation before. A wonderful garden, quiet nights, nice walks around the house. The location was great for exploring the breathtaking coastline of North Devon and Cornwall, for example Hartland Point, the beaches of Duckpool and Black Rock (nice dog-friendly beaches), for taking walks on Tarka Trail or visiting tourist attractions like Tintagel and Hartland Abbey. The owners were very thoughtful, helpful, gave great advice for our adventures and were just nice! Thank you, Helen and Richard

It was like home from home very nice

They need to update about the pubs and places to eat because some are not there now and it'd 20 minutes from the shop

"Perfect"

10.0

The cottage is lovely and just what we wanted. Loved our stay here.

King-size bed maybe and a softer mattress. We are spoilt and sleep on a Tempur super soft at home so this is not a criticism. There is no mobile phone signal in Devon LOL. This is not the fault of the cottage but of tight-fisted mobile companies not putting in enough 4G masts and just a general Devon/Cornwall complaint. Wherever we went we had Edge. I have not seen Edge on my phone since the 90s LOL.

"A brilliant cottage in a beautiful nature, but if taking a dog ask about donts and dos first"

8.0

This is a very beautiful cottage set into wonderful area perfect to reconnect with nature, quiet and peaceful holiday. Nice and clean, very well equipped, and the little touch of daisies in the vase truly made me smile 😊 many little lovely touches throughout the whole place

The Do’s and Donts for the pet should be listed in the actual listing so everyone is aware as if your dog is your family and especially elderly you end up sleeping on the sofa downstairs ( because dogs are not allowed upstairs) and you must research where is possible and how far is place to eat that allows dogs ( because dog is not allowed to be left in the house alone) and then after sleeping on the sofa for few nights having to strip all the beddings off before 5h drive leaves you sweaty and tired instead of relaxed 😅
