Mews Cottage

Great location in the heart of Middleton in Teesdale and great for visiting the surrounding area

Need to take care entering the courtyard via the archway.

Very quiet, close to pub and cafes etc. walking from the door.

The double bed was to soft so used the twin room instead that was fine.

The location is nice.

The kitchen + table was quite small for 5, but we knew that on beforehand (according to the pictures).

Great location, great communication from owner.

It was exceptional for a small property in that price range. The location was excellent, right in the centre of Middleton. The owners have clearly taken a lot of effort to ensure the house is well equipped (including dog biscuits, which were much appreciated by our dogs!). It was very clean. I'd be very happy to stay again.

The owners helped us out of a tricky situation when another property nearby let us down last minute. Went above and beyond, late on a stormy Friday, to greet us and put some finishing touches to the cottage (most notably putting the heating on for us!). The location is excellent (through the hotel car park archway, not the arch next to the old Information Centre). Thanks again and would definitely return.
