"Well equipped reasonably priced cottage in a fine rural location."

10.0

Location behind Teesdale Hotel ideal on a very wet New Years Eve day. Could park close by. Clean and well equipped. Great for walking and visiting local attractions (High Force, Bowes Museum, Barnard Cast, Eggleston Hall, Teesdale, Weardale.)

All positive, once we had found the property.

Beautiful cottage with a lovely village setting. Hosts were amazing friendly and professional. Very cosy and warming place to stay.

There is nothing I could say we didn't like about the cottage or hosts.

"The stay was excellent with very close to the river tee , I would recommend the cottage to friends with a note on car wi"

The location in the village was ideal , it was extremely clean and comfortable. We would definitely come back again.

We drive a Range Rover the arch to access the parking was to narrow, so we had to park on the high street. Had we known the width restriction we would have used another car. No toaster available, we are average size people however the double bed duvet was too narrow in width. So my husband slept in a single bed need a wider duvet. No toilet upstairs so in the night one would have to walk downstairs to use the toilet.

"Lovely little gem in the middle of it Middleton!"

10.0

Lovely quiet location but central to the village. Easy to park. Decent sized property with great use of space, so it didn't feel too small with 5 of us there. Wonderful location to visit Durham, Bernard's Castle, Low and High force, and Ashgill force. All with unbelievably stunning scenery on the way! Well stocked for dvds and jigsaws and plenty of books. The milk, tea and biscuits were a lovely surprise when we first got to the property. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need. Anne was on the end of the phone if we needed anything, and it is obvious she really cares about your stay and the property. It was spotlessly clean. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Due to a recent issue with tv, there was no remote and you had to reach behind the tv to control it. The tv came out on a bracket so it was possible but Anne said this was going to be sorted, so we just fell unlucky. Just a mither really but if mobility is an issue this could be a problem.
