We loved the location and the welcome by Immacolata and Stella. It’s in a FABULOUS location. The property has everything you need. The staircase is almost a ladder so is something consider if you have small children or physical limitations or you need to get up lots for the bathroom in the night. I would stay again.

We loved the location and the host of this apartment. Had a lovely stay here and wouldn’t hesitate returning in the future.

We didn’t have any issues but the steep staircase was similar to a ladder so people with mobility issues may find it challenging.

A wonderful welcome from our hostess who greeted us with delicious food she cooked herself. The house is beautiful and uniquely decorated with original art - much of it by the hostess herself - and fine quality furnishings. Very comfortable beds. It is perfectly located a short walk from the market and excellent restaurants.

There was some confusion over the matter of parking: we ended up paying for a space since free parking is only possible until 4pm.

What a place! Such great memories! It felt as if we came to stay at our granny's house, not in the apartment rented on a commercial platform. She met us in person (although we came much later than agreed, after the check-in time wich is till 8 pm), showed everything in the house and brought tons of presents: fruits grown at her son's farm, fresh juice, home made olive oil. She even made two cakes for us which were simply delicious. She did care about how our stay was going on. The apartment has everything you need: the kitchen is equipped with everything for cooking, there was even a washing machine! A baby cot and even a baby chair was provided for us! There are lot of paintings on the walls that the host and her family made on their own, very artistic! And the house has a history! So, all in all it was a truly authentic Italian experience. The location is fantastic: 20 metres from the market, steps away from all the sights on Ortigia island. We were also able to park our car by the apartment (public parking, but free of charge) as the host secured a spot for us. And even though the apartment is in the heart of Ortigia, it is still not in ZTL zone! Two separate bedrooms, so it is convenient both for families and for a group of friends.

The stairs to the second floor are a bit scary, you need to be very careful, especially if you travel with kids. This is the only drawback I was able to find))) Fantastic place to stay!

Location is great - right in the old town, only yards away from the street markets, restaurants and bars.

The stairs were more like a ladder, so quite steep. Not for people with mobility issues.

The perfect apartment in Ortigia! Immaculata greeted us with hugs and kisses upon arrival, gave us a full review of the apartment with all the interesting history, supplied us with special homemade treats and fresh fruit from her farm, and was available for any questions we had. The location was perfect for us to walk all around Ortigia and Siracusa! Our only regret was having only one night here. We will be back and would definitely return to stay here! Grazie!

Steep steps up to bedroom are a bit dangerous if in a hurry.

The location of the apartment is great just at the beginning of Ortigia. The host is super nice and helpful! She even baked us a cake and brought oranges from her garden. The apartment is beautiful, clean and quiet.

The only thing that can be a bit problematic is the stairs that take to the upstairs bedrooms. Extra care is needed to climb up.
