Cute garden

Quite dirty, especially the toilet room (I definitely don't think it was cleaned before, during or after our arrival). Washing machine noise in the evenings, when the owner asked us to be quiet after the curfew at 10pm. Not worth the price as we stayed at a classic Japanese homes which were spotless clean and much cheaper.

A wonderful host who provided breakfast and other treats. The location is ideal for exploring Gion and the many temples and shrines in Kyoto. It is a traditional place, making for a genuine cultural experience.

El anfitrión era super amable y estuvimos muy bien atendidos, tenía mucha voluntad porque nos sintiéramos como en casa. Además nos pudimos entender bastante bien con el inglés, y por las mañanas le comentábamos los planes que teníamos para el día y él nos contaba también historias. Es una casa tradicional japonesa que aunque sea antigua tiene mucho encanto y es preciosa, toda de madera y tatami con un pequeño jardín interior. Si buscas una experiencia auténtica en Kyoto más allá de un hotel moderno lo recomiendo un montón!

Charm och rustik i kombo, ägaren gjorde alltid det lilla extra för att få oss att känna oss omhuldade.

Inte så mycket, men möjligen behöver madrasserna bytas ut till något mer moderna och tjockare.

Monsieur Ono était très accueillant et il avait de charmantes attentions en nous offrant des gâteaux et diverses douceurs.

Peut-être un peu plus de ménage, ne pourrait pas faire de mal. Une bouilloire serait bienvenue car la thermos est limitée et ne tient pas la chaleur.

"Really nice experience in an old traditional Japanese house!"

The owner was very helpful and provided fresh fruits and yoghurt everyday.

Despite being a 150yrs ole building, it could have been cleaner though.
