"First stop in Japan, very good impression"

A typical Japanese room. The space is not very large, but it is enough for an average family. The house is very clean, the landlord is very kind, the price is reasonable, there is a Kintetsu line nearby, and it only takes one stop to Nara Park.

Super friendly staff, but they speak english only trough iphone translator. The coock in the restaurant downstairs will prepare a delicious ramen for you. Japanese style apartment, very cosy. The futon a little bit hard, but good enough

"Great host, great place and food"

I really loved my stay here, Yasuko and her husband were so nice to me. The place is maybe a little far from Nara's Park but I still recommend it to everyone. The 1st floor is a little restaurant and you can eat amazing things.

"Great place, do check out the massage chair."

The massage chair was not advertised but highly appreciate. It is 5 to 10 min walk from station. The sites are like 3 to 6 kilometers from here.

Google maps couldn't properly identify the correct lane, the place is in residential colony and atleast 2 lanes are parallel which makes it a little confusing of exact location.

"Superb"

The accommodation is located above a restaurant, and it was wonderful having the entire place to myself! It reminds me of a retro Japanese home. Really comfortable place to stay in, and the host is a lovely and friendly person. She was very accommodating to my plans and even made breakfast and dinner for me for a small fee. Having a free washing machine to use was also super convenient!

It is located a bit outside of the central Nara Station area, nearby Shin-Omiya Station, about 10mins by public transport. Not difficult to get to, but staying closer to Nara Park could be more convenient. Google Maps sent me down the wrong road for the location - if you can't find the guesthouse, try the next street over!

"Very good"

Nice place to stay for the night. The host was very friendly and the breakfast the next morning was totally worth it.

Only issue I found was the toilet was small/awkward to use for someone that's tall.
