Guesthouse Yoshikawa

It's a big space with 3 rooms upstairs and it's not shared with others so very private. I loved my stay here and would definitely come back here!

The host spreads good mood and is very friendly. The space was huge. Everything perfect.

10 to 15min by foot from JR station but it was ok

It was nice to stay in traditional inn l was surprise when l had 2 of the best nights sleep,the meals were great especially the traditional pancake. The owner didn't speak English but with the internet it was ok.

Staff is extremely gentle, the breakfast is really good for both quantity and quality, it is located 15min walk from the Nara station, massage chair available for free for the guests, typical Japanese style small apartment at the 2nd floor of a restaurant (it is an experience)

The room smelled a bit like food due to the fact that there is the restaurant downstairs, not a big problem but some people might not like it. The toilet is a bit small

Authentic and relaxed atmosphere, friendly owners. A large, clean and comfortable 2nd floor room, with nearby restroom and a shower/bathtub downstairs. Excellent value for the money.

My own fault, but I wasn't fully aware when booking that they ran a restaurant on the 1st floor which was open until 10pm. When returning in the evening I had to squeeze through a crowded dinner party who seemed surprised by the random foreigner appearing in their midst. Fortunately I was tired enough to sleep despite the sounds of the party downstairs. A minor negative but if you're a light sleeper, keep it in mind.

Good location, very comfortable, spacious and clean stay (with a nice message chair :D) What I liked most about this guesthouse are the owners. They are very lovely people!!

+++ The whole appartement is Japanese style. +++ Our host is the kindest person on Earth, responding to any demand the best she can and even more. +++ The Japanese breakfast (500¥/personne to add) is ryokan level and the portions are generous. +++ The price is unbeatable, allowing small budgets to experience a real Japanese style stay. ++ A washing machine with detergent is available for free. ++ A massage chair is available for free. ++ It is possible to let our bag before check-in. + The inside decoration is lovely.

Almost nothing, but maybe : - The apartment is just above the host’s restaurant and it can be a little bit noisy, but it did not bother us at all. - Toilets room are a bit small, better not to have long legs.

Checkin was late due to our long trip and the host was super. Clean room and and tea offered.
