The house was so charming and in a great quiet location. The beds were the most comfortable of the entire trip. We loved having a toilet upstairs as well as downstairs. The host was so friendly when showing us the house!

Location was great- it wasn’t right in the hustle and bustle of Gion leaving fairly quiet evenings. Size was perfect for a family of 5. Host was kind and readily available.

Bedroom doors creaky with movement-relevant to an old house just could wake others in middle of night.

Lovely traditional style home in the Gion District of Kyoto. Great location, walking distance to Shrines, Temples, bus stops and subway. Warm reception from Yuko the host who gave great tips on the area.
