I liked that the living was separated from the sleeping so we could have our coffee without waking the kids up. Cool design, very comfortable beds. Also having a washer and dryer was handy

It's a beautiful machiya with all the mod cons and well-appointed kitchen with a fridge stocked with many drinks. Love the location. The host was very welcoming and we appreciated the free taxi service to the home. She organised our luggage to be picked up from the home to be sent to our next stop so we didn't have the hassle of waiting for collection or filling in the forms.

The air conditioning in one of the rooms was not working as well so we did feel rather warm in it. Otherwise, it's absolutely perfect.

The bathroom and dining room

The house is beautiful and is in an excellent location for exploring the area. It is very safe and quiet. The house itself is serene.

Honestly it’s not very comfortable. The beds are very firm so we woke up with aching backs every day. You get one very thin firm pillow and one very thin extremely soft pillow per person. The air conditioning wasn’t sufficient for the hot humid days. The couch, aside from the one seat that is a chaise, is not very comfortable and our family of four was very crammed trying to watch a movie together.
