"Perfect stay in Japanese Traditional house"

The property is just wonderfull! It’s a traditional Japanese house completely renovated in good area near the Kyoto Budo Center. As I personally am interested in this place, so the house has ideal location for me. The environment is perfect: small streets, interesting practical architecture, small temples and a big ones nearby.

You know, the house was little too big for me alone. I would recommend it for family with two or three kids or for two or even three pares traveling together.

"Wonderful property in a convenient yet peaceful location"

Beautiful property, well equipped, more than enough consumables to never run out (coffee capsules, tissues...). The location was perfect for visiting the temples and getting out and about in the Kyoto area. Owners live next door and were most friendly and welcoming, yet also discreet leaving us to enjoy the property. We highly recommend!

"Great traditional house. Very recommended"

Amazing house with all you need and more. Super nice and helpful hosts. We were so sorry that we couldn’t stay more! The location is not central but easy to get by bus and lots of nice restaurants in close walking distance. The house has all you need and a lot of it. Bug and good washing machine, all kitchen appliances needed and large comfortable rooms. Bonus is the two small and very nice balconies.

Actually nothing. Will definitely choose it again if and when I’ll arrive Kyoto

Everything in this Machiya was to a very high spec. Quiet location but shops and restaurants very close by. Busy stop for the Kyoto city bus at top of road. All facilities are supplied for you, coffee, water, washing machine.

There are no negatives for this property

The room was very nice and cozy, the tatami mats were moderately soft and comfortable to sleep on, and there were all the amenities and free bicycles. The landlord and his wife are also very nice.

"Home away from home :-)"

We were three people staying, and it felt like home away from home. We were able to cook our own food, come and go as we pleased, and could even borrow free bicycles. The host drove us to our next location at the end of our stay for free as well.
