Karapiro Retreats holiday house

Absolutely nothing!!!! It was amazing!!!!!

Beautifully accommodated, equipped, place. As a bonus, great nature and animals.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It looked exactly as pictured. A friend and I were on a girls trip and this was our home base. We particularly liked having a washer/dryer (there is also a clothesline and drying rack) and kitchen, as we ended up preparing more meals than expected. I loved being able to hang out on the porch overlooking pastures and hills, and see various farm animals. Michael, one of the hosts, stopped by and was so nice and gracious. One of the most memorable vacations I've ever had, in large part because of this property.

That I had to leave.

The place was so clean no dust on anything. The outright presentation was amazing. It felt welcoming. The owners even offered for me to try on her dresses after a stain issue (see below) and offered 2 pay 2 replace my dress.

What is in the bottles may not necessarily contain whats its labeled E.g stain remover had bleach in it instead and stained my dress.. The blue lights on the deck could cause seizures, and no different settings to it. And it it was more close to the road that what we thought

Everything worked. The place was new and spotless. Michael and Cai were very nice people.

The new combo washer dryer unit did not dry well. It took a long time and ultimately required hanging things out on a rack. But this seems to be par for the course with these combination units and we were glad the place had a laundry. None of the many windows and lovely large sliding glass doors had insect screens. If not all, at least a few should have screens to allow you to open the place up a little for fresh air and not have to turn off ALL the lights to prevent being invaded by pesky flying critters.

Everything was perfect. Comfortable beds, immaculately clean. Beautiful setting. Considerate hosts.

The house was clean, comfortable and ideally located for our activities in Hamilton, Cambridge and Matamata. The whole process from booking, to the day we left was easy.

Communication was great. Loved the goat and sheep. Property was modern and absolutely spotless. We took our own games but loved that you had some there too. Great location for visiting Hobbiton. Can't fault it. Thank you.

Peaceful, quiet, and awesome views. The stars ✨ at night were outstanding. The property was like new and well equipped. This house is a must with Cambridge nearby for food and Hobbiton very close!!
