Central on Tui - Taupo Central Holiday Unit

The location, so close to the lake and pub right down the road! Also, that they were pet friendly! So nice being able to travel with fluffy babies. They need adventures too!

There was only one key… one of us got locked out while the other was sleeping, 2 keys would have saved my mum from a 3 hour sit down on the steps with the dogs 😅

Very clean and convenient

The only thing was the outside spa temperature was very luke warm

Made own breakfast. Comfortable layout.

Heating. The two heaters were not working properly. Need to be looked at. The lounge heater makes a squeaky-swishing sound and does not give out much heat. Upstairs either very hot or cold - could not adjust the heat. No instructions.

The location

The A/C didn't work well, lip on floor to kitchen area, couldn't use dining table & chairs due to uneven floor, concertina doors on upper floor need handles on inside to ensure able to shut.

Good location .

Damp smell. Carpet had been removed and constantly banging toes on kitchen tiles. Overcrowded living space . Fridge in wrong position due to 2 dishwashers 🙄REALLY uncomfortable couch and no seating for 4 adults. Dreadful condensation in back bedroom. Modem light in back bedroom really annoying at night. I think the owners should have a 3 night stay to see what it’s like.

Location was excellent, rooms were clean. Comfortable bed.

The couch was very uncomfortable. No shower in the ensuite.

tiny fridge and miniscule freezer. Retractable Shower hose in upstairs toilet. No tap in front of house to clean shoe/slippers. The opposite units all have taps.

Great central location. Walking distance to lake front and town centre. Clean and well equipped facilities.

The location was excellent! So easy to walk to see and do things.
