Lakefront Fantail Cottage Lake Hawea, Wanaka

The location and views were awesome, within walking distance to food and groceries, and right across the street from walking trails with spectacular views of the lake and mountains. The accommodations felt like friends were sharing their lake-side get away - cozy, lived in feeling.

The bed mattress sank in on one side, resulting in a rounded area in the middle of the bed (which impact our 'very good' rating for Comfort). The 'very good' rating for cleanliness is mainly because some of the furniture, e.g. sofa, was a little worn.

Quite handy location, on site parking.

Das 2. Schlafzimmer ist außerhalb in einem extra Gebäude untergebracht. Der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber war sehr unfreundlich. Die Unterkunft war sehr schmutzig - keine frische Bettwäsche im Hauptschlafzimmer, 2. Schlafzimmer war nicht gereinigt und die Betten nicht bezogen. Küchenschränke waren extrem schmutzig. Die gewaschenen Handtücher hingen über unseren ganzen Aufenthalt im Garten, direkt neben dem Grill.

Great little cottage in a good location. Had everything we needed. Recommend

The scenery. Facilities were perfect for us and our wee dog

Floors were a bit creaky

Great location and view. House was a good size for family of 4.

Floors squeaked and it was hard to move silently when kids were asleep.

Everything was great. Clean, comfortable, great location, all the comforts of home. Handy location to the supermarket and cafes etc. Perfect size and amenities for a couple. Sleepout great for that extra person.

There was nothing we didn't like.
