The views from the garden are breathtaking and the garden itself is beautiful as well - you'll see big monsteras, banana and avocado trees. The terrace is really nice - again, the views! - the bed was comfortable, and the shower in the bathroom is spacious. São Vicente's church and a nice snack bar are just under 10m walking distance from the accommodation, and the seaside promenade with restaurants and bars just a few minutes more - great location overall.

Considering it's a self-catering accommodation, it was disappointing to not have any basic cooking essentials in the kitchen (salt, olive oil) which was the case in other places we stayed at in Madeira. The smell of dampness in the flat is intense (a dehumidifier is provided).

Really comfortable and clean with little kitchen area with everything you need and excellent shower. Beautiful scenic location of the mountains and clock tower and some view of the sea. Very quiet and peaceful. Really nice outdoor pool with no one else using it when we were there and just two other small apartments.

There’s no sandy beach but Madeira would be a different island if it had that. A ten minute walk to the little town and the seafront and a fairly steep walk back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is well decorated combing old heritage of this mansion and modern design. We had completely 2 floors for ourselves with huge kitchen and outdoor terrace. It was lovely to have a breakfast outside and enjoy the views of the valley. The place had lots of parking available. The hosts sent us all information how to find the house and also their recommendations for the restaurants that we tried and was so delicious. We didn’t try the pool as it was coldish, but I assume it’s really nice to chill there in summer.

Very nice place! Beatuiful surroundings, clean room, easy to contact the staff via booking.com, and our requests were met. We stayed three adults, so one slept on the sofa which was ok. The bed was very comfortable. Lovely pool!

Very good value, spaceous, beautiful location, beautiful design. Kitchen has dishwasher and oven and everything one needs except perhaps storage for food outside the fridge. Also loved the terrasse and garden. Perfect sleep thanks to stores and comfortable beds .

It's a beautiful place. The only improvement one can think of would be some cupboards for clothes .
