Appartment was ok, beds ok, linens and plenty of towels provided. Wifi very good, free parking

We got relocated into a different neighbourhood, which had a very high crime rate and we felt very unsafe. The windows had bars in front of them, suspicious people lingering in front of the door. We didnot go out for walks and only left in the car. Our original AirBnB was in a much safer area. We ended up leaving two nights earlier than booked. There was construction in the completely gutted town house next to ours, they were drilling and hammering all day long. Beds were comfy but very squeaky, Furnace was in middle of apartment and very loud, almost constantly running, even though we had it only on 70’F

Although located on a busy street, it was in a diverse neighborhood, close to stores and eateries. It took less than 15 minutes to reach the Smithsonian. The owner was nice and promptly responded when needed! The property was welcoming. The bed was very comfortable! There were a couple of things I texted with the owner about, and he was amenable to upgrading.

You have to go outside of the unit to access laundry. The house encompasses two units. Although the 1st floor unit was a nice size & it was pretty quiet until the other renters arrived in the upstairs unit. The walls are thin & at times, it sounded as if the other renters were inside of our rental unit.

Location was centrally located within 4-7 miles of all places we were going to. Neighborhood was well occupied with well kept homes. Most of the houses were from the 1920's, but well maintained.

Pictures and description of facility might have been a little clearer. We were initially, mildly shocked to see that the home had 3 'apartments', but we came to realize it was well laid out and quite practical. Cozy and extremely clean. Host was extremely considerate and communicative. Homey.

This is a 2-floor apartment in a very old house. Free Wi-Fi was available. Room had a nice size fridge, microwave, stove, large sink and kitchenware. The floors have been redone and are very nice and polished. There is a nice size TV in the kitchen/living room area and A/C-heater units in each room that is programed with a remote. The two queen-size beds upstairs are new.

The outside stairs and inside stairs were unexpected. The street noise is terrible. Updated windows may help but it's a house away from a very busy intersection on a main road. Drivers are constantly honking to get the inattentive drivers to move. There are no black out curtains on any windows and the blinds on the windows are broken and not sized correctly. Parking is at the front of the house, literally, and it's precarious getting in and out of the driveway.
