The location is excellent. 3 mins walk to Ely Cathedral to enjoy a beautiful evensong. Close to train station to catch train into Cambridge. Good eateries nearby. The sunroom & courtyard were fabulous & toasty warm in the sunshine.

The scrappy bit of paper with wifi info on it!!!! Looked like it had been screwed up, thrown away & retrieved from bin in order to attempt to make clear the necessary letters etc. Lowered the tone of the otherwise well presented property. Gave us a laugh!

Nice location, clean property. Comfortable bed.

Not enough hot water for more than 2 showers. UHT milk sachets had expired in August 24.

The down stairs shower room needs refurbished. No mirror in the twin room. Large mirror needed in ensuite room. Towel size questionable?

The location was absolutely perfect. Everything we wanted to see in Ely was within walking distance. The garden was enchanting and the "sunroom" was perfect.

I didn't fully understand the layout and did not realize that all of the bedrooms were down a very narrow, steep flight of stairs. It was difficult to haul the luggage up and down. And, my 87 year old mother particularly struggled with the stairs. The lighting was fun but it took a bit to get it figured out, the pull strings in particular.

"Hidden gem"

This is a hidden gem. Entered through a dark doorway shared with a barbers' shop. Couldn't figure out how to get in at first! Inside had everything we needed. Great location in the centre of Ely. Eating out fantastic. Turkish restaurant and the Drayman's Son bar a few steps away. Best food ever at Sushi and Salad. Cathedral wonderful. Great markets

Showing signs of wear. Bedroom screened by a curtain though there are three bedrooms and we didn't need to use it. Dishwasher caused minor flood!
