Excellent location. Good for groups.

Very steep stairs down to bedrooms and toilets. One bedroom only curtained off from public area.

This was a quirky property ring in the centre of Ely, which is idea for exploring the town and countryside.

This appears to be managed by a company, Nokie Stays, which when we found out we had a blocked overflowing toilet, responded poorly before a plumber finally arrived to fix the issue. They did offer us a partial refund due to the unsanitary conditions we endured but, several months later this has not been paid.

It was located right in the middle of Ely, so close to all the shops/amenities. It was a lovely big, flat, with lots of character, apparently built in 1875. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us, with a lovely conservatory at the back and a courtyard garden. It was really lovely sitting out there, having Pimms, with the family. The main bedroom mattress was very comfortable with a lovely en-suite and a large walk in wardrobe.

I know they are in the basement . But we weren’t keen on the Uni-loo toilet system. It was difficult to flush the toilets properly. It was claustrophobic and airless in the twin bedded room and double room. The grill and oven were dirty when we arrived! The bin outside, was half full from the previous guests, so I had to leave the cans/cardboard/bottles, in a bag, outside the bin.

We provided our own breakfast because there was a good Waitrose store around the corner

Some rooms are quite dark because the bedrooms are in the basement and the garden area would be lovely with a bit of TLC

State of oven trays, grill and cleanliness of oven. Couldn't find any shaver sockets in bathrooms. Needed to search Web for hob instructions.

Great location for the centre of town. Lovely courtyard garden and conservatory area that was quiet and peaceful. Clean and tidy. Good food at the Ely Turkish Restaurant just nearby.

The free car parking is actually a 23 hour car park a little walk away, and Fore Hill road has a double yellow line - making us unsure if we could unload there. ( Apparently you're given 10 mins to unload - but this isn't mentioned anywhere...) Two of the three bedrooms don't have windows - so they feel a touch claustrophobic. The shared shower-room drainage is a bit slow - so don't overdo your shower!

The house was lovely, clean well equipped with a lovely courtyard garden and was really well located once we actually got access to the right appartement but very noisy as its adjacent to a popular Barbers and the cleaners come it at 6am...6.30 on a Sunday for over an hour. The hosts were very nice and turned up quickly once Nokistay contacted them. Booking.co. we're really helpful. The hosts were very apologetic. She asked about trip and we told her we might eat at the nearby Turkish restaurant where she worked. It was very busy and she was disappointed we were unable to get a table as they wanted to prepare something special for us which was kind.

Nokistays verification system did not work it took 3 days to sort out and was only resolved 12hrs before our trip!!!! It took lots of emails and phone calls to get it sorted out. They kept insisting I needed to verify via their system which accepted my submission but failed to register it. Nokistays then kept requesting I send my ID to them directly on an unsecured email. I said no and pointed out Booking.com advise customers NOT to do this. SO STRESSFUL!! got there couldn't get in for 2hrs. First the keylock didn't work,then it was the wrong appartement and then the wrong keys!!! More calls to get that sorted. We were a bit disappointed that we had asked for a later check out and we couldn't access our appartement for 2hrs but the hosts arrived at just after 10am to clean for the next guests at 3pm. We didn't get our lay in anyway due to the cleaner next door ..but still it would have been a nice gesture!
