Caledon Country House

The accommodation as well as the scenery around the accommodation is very beautiful.

Attention should be given to the drainage around the parking area to prevent water from accumulating in puddles, as this creates some discomfort when walking in that part of the property.

The view was spectacular, the house had plenty of space neatly decorated and the beds were very comfy with more than enough bedding to ensure it was nice and warm, loved the fireplace and ample wood to keep it going every day

There were no steak knives and the water pressure is very weak

Cozy with stunning views but close enough to town to spend time at the square. Big and airy rooms that could accomodate our toddler - we had an incredible time at a home away from home.

We had a great stay but would recommend a new kettle, maintenance to the upstairs shower as it leaks and the stair banister felt a bit unsafe for our little one as the gaps are very large. So just some general maintenance to this little gem would be appreciated

We enjoyed our stay. Wood was prepaired and we could stay an hour longer. I think we will be back in a couple of months

Beds were uncomfortable, you could feel the springs. No steak knives

The view of the mountains is exceptional. The house was extremely spacious. Safe and convenient undercover parking. The tap water is of high quality. The proximity to Golden Gate. The well-equipped kitchen.

The rough access road, especially arriving in the dark and rain. The end waypoint directs you down a track just past the turnoff. A sign on the large rock fence post at the actual turnoff would definitely assist in the dark when you cannot clearly make out the pink colour of the house. The upstairs banisters are not toddler friendly.

Beautiful views and location and very peaceful.
