"Great place in a rural setting."

The views, the peace and quiet, the location. The house has everything you need, including a fireplace and TV if the weather is bad outside. Also, I liked the fact that the house is cleaned daily, and when you return from all your outings, the house is cleaned and tidy. There is also a carport at the back of the house for 3 vehicles if you are traveling in a group, so your car is protected. Not many lodges have this. It feels like home.

We seemed to be there during a very windy period, and we couldn't sit outside much. The gravel road getting there needs some grading. It's quite rough.

Beautiful and quiet location outside Clarens. Big spacious house with everything you need, each Bedroom is ensuite. Lots of wood for the lovely fireplace. Would definitely go back for a longer stay.

Only thing was no water the next morning, apparently common in winter? If so a warning would have been appreciated.
