"Good for a short stay in Rye."

8.0

Great location! Parking in Rye a bonus and very comfy beds.

Bathroom lock didn't work, only small towels, steep stairs, couldn't get the thermostat to turn up the heating, could be cleaner (dirt in fireplace in bathroom and screw on floor of dining room, tablecloth, curtains stained), fridge/freezer very small.

"Formidable logement"

10.0

"Central buy noisey"

4.0

Lots of reviews said it was quiet but it was on A main road with Lorry’s going by at 10pm. The window leaked in the main bedroom-/ we had to put a cushion there to stop the dripping noise all night

"We love Rye."

8.0

2nd visit. Close to all the amenities of Rye. Close to transport networks (bus and train) if you want a day out. Inside a very well stocked kitchen, bathroom and bedroom (ironing board, iron, hairdryer, toiletries etc).

Info in property states keeping the property secure - noted sash windows have no safety catches on them. Info in property states do not move furniture - lounge overwhelmed with large pieces, moved to make staying more comfortable.

"Clean and conveniently situated. Smart TV beat me, went to bed early,"

6.0

location was excellent easy access to shops restaurants the beautiful historic sites. There is lot to see especially if you like older buildings and architecture. It was nice to see so much of the past has been preserved.

Directions to the property were not clear, despite sat nav I had to call the the managing agent to ask for directions. I was directed to turn onto Ferry road (a one way street) and drive past the Queens Head pub, then immediately turn into the pebble street. To aid future guests--there isn't a pub called the Queens Head and there isn't a pebbled street. The pub is actually the Crown and the pebbled street is the drive way for the property.

"We enjoyed our stay in this house and in Rye. We had a very varied stay including visiting Dungeness and Hythe( in a fr"

8.0

The property was spotless and had everything you would need. It has a huge bathroom! It was very short walk to the train station and all local amenities. Also the bus station. Rye is a very interesting town with a great church and also Rye Art Gallery It’s very close to Winchelsea and Hastings/St Leonard’s which we were able to get to using train or bus

Unfortunately it was next to a car park which on Friday and Saturday nights became a meeting place for local young people who made a lot of noise. We stayed 6 nights and the other nights were actually very quiet. It was a shame the tv didn’t have instructions on how to access terrestrial tv ( if indeed you can). We don’t have any subscriptions so couldn’t watch anything. We accessed the radio via our phones. It does have a very steep staircase which once we had mastered was fine.

"Comfortable visit to a fantastic town."

7.0

Good spot with parking in lovely area. 2 good sized bedrooms

Although 4 beds only 2 working bedside lamps. In most lets I would expect a bath towel and a hand towel per person not just 1. Very little information about how anything works and no info about area.
