"Lovely couple of days in Rye - our first visit and enjoyed the area."

9.0

Clean and cute cottage with easy access to all of Rye's attractions. Reasonably easy parking which was important for us.

For anyone with difficulty with stairs, they were very steep and narrow. But this isn't a complaint just a warning for anyone with access difficulties.

"Perfectly located and great little place."

8.0

Very handy for everything!! Lovely place. Lots of space and well appointed kitchen. Very helpful communications re check In and check out etc

It was a little hot, given the weather that was to be expected. I had hoping for a table and chairs outside for a morning coffee, afternoon dunks etc. though we moved the bench into the sun so we managed.

"Great weekend!"

8.0

Great location. Couldnt be more centre and supermarket right next door. Super cute place. Has both a bath with shower. Parking space great.

Beds could of been more comfortable but fine for few nights. The stairs are very steep not suitable for someone who struggles with that.

"A bit of a let down"

5.0

It has nice period features (eg fireplaces) and the kitchen and bathroom were really spacious. Lots of utensils in the kitchen. Offered a high chair and could provide a travel cot too, which was helpful. Easy to find the keys. Easy walking access to Rye.

Quite difficult to locate - could have benefited from explicit instructions to help locate it. The main issue we had was comfort. The large double bed base was broken/had dropped and so the bed sank on the left hand side. We had to use the small double, where the mattress was quite hard/unsupportive. We had known about the stairs to the top floor, but the ground floor was not level and there were steps to the kitchen which meant we couldn’t let our son play in the dining room. This only left him the living room which is tiny. The property is also on a main road, railway line/station, and a busy supermarket car park so it is quite loud.

"Enjoyable. Well equipped Kitchen Great location."

7.0

Very good location, just a short walk to shops and town centre Relatively quiet, thanks to the secondary glazing.

Bathroom lock not lining up so unable to lock. Handrail at top of stairs needs attention ( slightly loose) T V needs to be in a room where you eat, an extra one in the dining room would be excellent Positioning of the lounge tv not in relation to the seating, and does not pick up signal for broadcast programs most of the time, obviously an aerial problem. Looked everywhere to find the history of this historic cottage, but none available besides the exposed timbers in the Kitchen, perhaps a leaflet would be good.
