Historic Grade 2 listed Cottage with Parking

Well place in the town and very clean

There weee no directions to find it and it’s not on the street, so we struggled to find it. It was cold and the heating was not working when we arrived. It took us about half an hour of fiddling to get it working. The pull out sleeper sofa was not good at all and there was insufficient bedding for it. A nice touch would be to leave a small carton of milk for arrivals to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee

The house was comfortable, clean and in the perfect location to explore Rye

When we arrived the boiler was off so the house was freezing and took a while to warm up

Loved the location, it was a five minute walk from all the fun shops and cafes, and is in sight of the train station. The house was comfy and cosy, and clean. The kitchen is stocked with cooking implements, and the washroom has a deep bathtub.

The heat hadnt been turned on when we arrived, so it took hours to warm up the house and it was quite cold. In the winter months, it would be nice to have a warm space to arrive to.

It was clean and well-decorated, and the location central and convenient. The bedrooms were OK....

The sofa bed was no such thing - it was an old day bed frame with a tatty mattress no more than 2 ft wide. An adult could not have slept there, which meant we had to find an alternative for one of our party- not great at Christmas time! The sitting room was tiny and couldn't accommodate 3 adults. The heating hadn't been turned on so it took hours before it was warm enough to be comfortable. NOT good value for money.

Very cosy, clean, great shower

Some broken glass in the dining room and pillows not clean in one bedroom. Could use another chair upstairs

It was central and lots of pubs and places to eat within 2/3 min walk, I would stay there again despite central location it was quiet , the parking was a real bonus.

Quirky, good location in town.

Didn’t have house number, was difficult to find.
