The 3 bedrooms worked really well for us. 3 ladies met up for a stay/catch up. Great location to the city centre. Kitchen well equipped and tea, coffee, milk and cakes on arrival. Beds comfy and linen and towels clean. Host very accommodating and helpful.

Attic room shower only suitable for a small adult. We felt the house was a bit shabby/unloved. Not suitable for a young family, elderly or infirm people due to very steep and narrow stairs. The house could have been cleaner. Lots of cobwebs around.

The house is truly cosy and equipped with everything we needed plus a collection of books, DVDs and games. The garden is tiny but the five of us managed to have an enjoyable Cream Tea! I loved the absolute quiet location while being so close to the heart of York. I can really recommend this place!

Lovely house quaint and in a quite location. What we needed as only needed for sleeping and a cuppa in the morning. Nice the top bedroom had a wet room with shower which our cousin had. So my sister and I used the bathroom down stairs. Nice touch lovely home made chocolate cup cakes when we got in. Yummy

Location was excellent and provided great value for money. The house was brilliant for our three kids and us.

The location to the York Minster and centre was very close (less than 10 minute walk). Each of the three double bedrooms were of a good size and comfortable beds. House is very well maintained and lovely decor. Very good value for money.

Because of the location of the bathroom on the ground floor behind the kitchen, you have to go downstairs to go to the bathroom which is not great for elderly visitors as the stairs are quite steep. There is an ensuite in the loft room but again the stairs are quite steep and spiral.

The location of this house is perfect

The location was great, only a 10 minute walk into York and to the wedding venue at The Hospitium. Mary had also organised street parking for us right putside the property.

There was nothing not to like, a fantastic stay, definitely book the house again
