Lovely quirky house in quiet location… 15 minute walk to York Minster… beds very comfortable

If you have mobility issues then the steep stairs up to the bedrooms would be a problem… main toilet on ground floor

Property was decorated in a way that reflected the period but had every modern amenity

I loved the cosy living room for the evening times and the decor was lovely and homely, it really was a home away from home.

Lovely terrace cottage, very comfortable beds, location was a short walk from monks bar end of city centre & York is amazing place to explore 🩵

The step stairs is challenging for any age, but soon got use to them.

I loved the location. Fantastic and central for exploring the area of York. Lady who owns the property was fantastic, it was ready early, so let us in. Hubby and daughter were evry excited to see fresh cakes when we got there as well. All things we should need were there... even a washing machine. Fantastic

There wasn't anything... just didn't like the toilet being downstairs in the middle of the night. But couldn't be helped

Lovely and central

Fantastic location minutes walk from York city centre. Free on-street parking in front of the property. House well equipped, clean and tidy with everything we needed. Nice cakes on arrival with tea and coffee provided and milk in the fridge - nice welcoming touch after a long drive. Very helpful owner who lives just round the corner. We will be back !

Rear yard is a bit small and the stairs are quite steep (but both are stated in the listing). The loft room is a bit quirky (but does have a view of the Minster). During our stay the bathroom window didn't open and the extractor fan didn't seem to work. But no major problem and these minor negative points do not detract from the overwhelming positives.
