Kandy Fortress

Staff is great. There service is good and they offer us tea and coffee. Bathroom has hot water and the balcony view is great.

Not great for the value but its fine. Hot water tap is broken.

Very kind and helpful host. The room was very comfortable. There was also access to kitchen and living room. Outside the noisy Kandy, but within a walking distance to the Temple and lake when going down. Going up best to take Tuk. You can buy tickets from host for Kandy Dance show, which was a very worthwhile experience!

Kumari was an exceptional hostess! When our tuk tuk driver failed to show up to take us to the train she knew who to call. The room, had a private bathroom, electric kettle, table with two chairs and two chairs on the veranda. She made one traditional breakfast for us. It was delicious!

It was farther than we expected from the city which made it hard to get a tuk tuk. But we discovered if we walked a bit down the stairs they would come by and take us where we needed to go.

a large room with a large living room, bathroom and kitchen where you can heat food or make tea. Very clean and very comfortable, in silence, on a hill with a view of the beautiful mountains. The facility was not in the center, but there are cheap tuk tuks everywhere that took us everywhere. The owner is the nicest and most helpful person in the world! If we ever come back to Sri Lanka, we will definitely stay there!
