very nice guest house with a beautiful room, an amazing view and a really kind host. Great value for money. The guest house is on the hill but you can go easily by foot in the city, it’s not too far.

Had a fantastic stay at the Kandy Fortress Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy atmosphere for relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests and making sure my stay was as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious variety of options that set me up perfectly for the day ahead. The hotel's location was convenient, making it easy to explore the attractions in Kandy while offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend Kandy Fortress Hotel for a pleasant and comfortable stay in Kandy. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

Such a lovely view from the room, spacious and cosy. The host took great care of me and made sure I was comfortable.

There are dogs that stay at the property, who constantly bark at guests when trying to leave or arrive. Maybe some more soundproofing on the doors would be a nice addition to an already lovely homestay.

Lovely property, unfortunately found a cock roach in the bathroom but staff sorted it out straight away. One thing though, I don’t think staff spoke much English.
