Kyo no oozora FUKA

Loved having our own little home away from home. Beautiful spot tucked into the neighborhood with easy connection to the sights of the town. The garden was awesome, the bedroom variety was a great experience, and the host was super helpful and attentive to details of the stay.

Very good machiya in a nice quiet neighborhood steps away from transit, nice restaurants and cafes. nishiki market is walking distance on a temperate day otherwise use any of the local buses that are easy to use and convenient. I would highly recommend taking the short walk to Astrea Coffee or Wanderers if you are looking for fantastic coffee and breakfast.

If you plan on staying in the machiya during the day instead of sightseeing there is a school right across the street with children playing.

A beautiful machiya style home with all the things you need for a a family stay. Quiet neighbourhood with easy access to main points of interest. Staff were exceptionally helpful and attended to requests very quickly. Would stay here again.

Really detail oriented and with lots of care. the place itself, every ammenity from the special soaps and creams for the facial treatment, the tea and coffee, to the nice furniture, comfy bed and sofa, theamazing shower in the garden... but also the staff and how in particular the woman that attended us in the main office basically helped us organize our stay and visit to kyoto and sorroundings. Really taking the time to explain and help us. Great experience

Enjoyable house machiya style; all comfort you need. Perfect for a family in a quit neighbourhood and very well connected to the main amenities of the city! We definitely loved our stay there
