Corner Cottage - base for exploring North Norfolk

It was just generally OK. The garden was nice to sit in. Accommodation was fairly comfortable with a well supplied kitchen.

Didn't like the stairs - quite dangerous. Bathroom and shower areas were a bit cramped. Lack of hanging space in the back bedroom. By the way, you are not allowed to park at the Village Hall as suggested.

Pleasant stay. Central location. We'll equipped kitchen. Bathrooms new.

Few issues to be aware of such as very steep stairs to bedrooms and bathroom, plus on busy road. Also the toilets are both very tight to sit down on comfortably, would of been better to remove one shower so more space. Couldn't fit on one and had to leave door open on other. Mattress not great.

Good base for exploring the surrounding area

Position on a corner and having to cross a very busy main road although we had read about that in previous reviews made more difficult as we had a dog with us

The only problem was the steep stairs. Probably ok for the younger visitors, but for us pensioners a bit steep.

Ideal location

Back gate could be accidentally unlocked as catch and bolt not positive lock. Front gate did not fasten. Was a concern for dog going straight onto busy road. If children would be concerned as well.

It was spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated. Had everything you'd need for a holiday. Nice & warm. You could put the heating on at any time. Lovely enclosed garden for a pet or children to play. A perfect little cottage for a relaxing holiday.

We liked the cottages location, the area was excellent to explore the Norfolk north coast. It was nice to have a garden for our dog Lily. There are two pubs that are walkable too (one is very close, while the other one was a 20 minute walk). The cottage is next to a busy road, but we found there wasn’t a noise problem. It didn’t interfere with us watching tv and we slept well.

The road is very busy during the day, so you need to take extra care trying to cross it.

Good location, with safe off road parking. The house was very well maintained, comfortable and cosy. Good value for money, we would definitely recommend.

The stairs are very steep, and I think guests need to know this in case it’s an issue for them. Likewise the toilet space in both bathrooms is narrow. But no other issues at all.

Quirky little cottage

For me the stairs were an issue as they are steep and narrow, i am awaiting a knee replacement and found i gad to go up on all fours and down backwards, however that was my issue although people with mobility issues will struggle getting about between floors
