Bock Retreat Lodge 54 with Hot Tub

Lovely lodge overlooking the river. Clean and comfortable inside and the host was very attentive.

There wasn’t much within walking distance which would have been nice, but plenty a short drive away.

It was a lovely property in a great location, and there were plenty of cooking essentials provided which made our stay easier.

There was a camera on the property which we were not aware of beforehand. Some of the internal doors were quite dirty, and there was no mop or hoover available even though guests are asked to leave the property clean when departing. We cleaned as best we could (all dishes done and bedding and towels removed). We were also asked how many cars would be at the property and for the names and ages of everyone staying. I personally felt uncomfortable providing this information as I believed it should be confidential, although I did provide it when asked.

How warm cosy and welcoming. Heating was on when we arrived and music on tv it just looked so welcoming had everything you need such a lovely location quiet and peaceful would definitely go back.

Was abit dark round hot tub on the night could do with abit more lighting also maybe somewhere to hang coats hooks on bedroom doors maybe or on passage wall.
