Bock Retreat Lodge 54 with Hot Tub

Lovely lodge ! Nice and cosy

Trouble getting keys and contacting owner Needed a good clean No hot water on kitchen sink No cold water in bathroom , nearly got scalded in shower Couldn't use out door area or hot tub until 9pm due to wasps nest on top of lodge at rear decking area

Hot tub didn't seem to be working properly

We had the best time Lodge was lovely Walks and park good Pub good. It was a stay over on our way to Alnwick

Kids loved the hot tub

Lodge was beautifully decorated and set out , hot tub was a lovely extra

The hot tub was nice and seemed clean. The view into the woods was pretty. Enough seating in the living room and good sized dining table. Double bed and linens were comfy, towels were good quality. Lots of storage space.

The shower was scalding hot. My young daughter couldn’t have a bath the 4 nights we were there. Whatever mop you use needs changing as it leaves a urine smell upon entry. Smells a bit doggy in the living room. En-suite sink still blocked even after you came out to fix it. Lots of wasps but not much you can do about that. Single beds not very comfy, I think the springs had gone in them.

Lovely, quiet location. You can step off the balcony straight into the hot tub. Loved the hedgehog lamps!

Needs some repairs, the main ones were the shower (scalding hot all the time!) En suite bathroom door stuck and the hot tap in the kitchen only trickled out.

Nice lodge on a decent park, very clean apart from what looked like a hairball underneath one of the beds

Hot tub could do with a service, some jets not working, weeds and nettles around paving stones at hot tub, outside of lodge could do with a clean, paid for wi- fi, shouldn't have bothered, couldn't connect to anything , some kind of hair ball under bed, messaged on booking.com but got no reply. Light bulb missing in light in sitting area, screw sticking out of decking area near hot tub which my husband had to knock back in

Lodge was lovely. In a lovely spot. Hot tub was amazing. Plenty of storage space. Everything you need a for a lovely get a away.

The door to the en-suite toilet would not open from inside. Found this out the hard way. Thankfully, my husband was not in the hot tub, so was able to rescue me.

Hot tub was excellent. Property was clean and well presented on arrival

Pull out bed was a little uncomfortable
