Osprey Cottage, Manton in Rutland

Lovely cottage, beautifully clean with everything you need for a perfect stay. Lots of little extra touches which made it special. Super pub 2 minutes wak away, and great footpaths and dog walking nearby.

The location - quiet, secluded village and quiet, secluded cottage and beautiful garden. Perfect location for watching birds on Rutland Water - a 5 minute walk away. Furnishing stylish and comfortable.

Really can't think of anything at all

The simplicity of communication and access The treats which welcomed us. The fast response to request for cooler duvets. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely garden and comfy recliners. The location, great pub food and access to Rutland Water bird watching

Very clean and comfortable. In a lovely quiet village location. Appreciated the extra touches milk, orange juice, croissants, biscuits and of a bottle of beer and wine. And an enclosed garden for us and the dog. Comfortable bed as well

Only thing I could say is the tv mounted was a bit high up for us, but I understand that is a personal choice

Very comfortable clean and welcoming. It suited our needs perfectly.

It was a wonderful cottage and stay. The cleaner was very prompt arriving a few minutes before we were due to leave. I appreciate guests should leave promptly and the cleaner was very polite. Nonetheless we felt rushed to finish packing the car while they proceeded to do the change over and I almost left my bag behind. As a holiday cottage owner myself, impressions count equally to first impressions and we found it to be a little abrupt end to a marvellous stay. Perhaps 5 mins leeway would be considerate.

The cottage had EVERYTHING we needed, it is in a fab location and the hosts gave fantastic advice and tips for our stay, and replied very promptly too, couldn't fault anything.
