The cookware definitely needs to be updated. Foil wrap, plastic wrap, paper towels.

Amazing little place with everything you need. Very clean and suitable for 2-4 people.

Beds are not too comfortable, but everything else made up for that!!

The lodge was in a beautiful location, it had everything needed, and was tastefully furnished with a little patio area to sit out, and it was lovely to sit and watch the sunset, we had lovely views, but it is out on its own, so you need a car to go out to eat etc, but the setting makes up for this. I did leave something and Sarah did locate it and post back to me, and I was very grateful for that.

Would have liked to have been met by hosts, when taking over lodge. The beds in the twin room are tiny, and not ideal for adults, which I found confusing as I believed the lodge to be adults only.

It was the perfect out of the way retreat and like a tardis - much bigger on the inside than it appeared from outside. Very comfortable and well equipped. Would have loved to stay longer.

There were no hooks to hang coats etc.

Beautiful location. Feels remote (a retreat,indeed), yet close to some of Orkney‘s major sights. Perfectly equipped with everything you need. Small, but with some very clever ideas to make use of the space.

The accommodation and location were fantastic. An excellent base for exploring Orkney. The locals we met were all extremely friendly. Amazed at the birdlife around the lodge.

A few more days of sunshine and less rain
