Ruwan Jungle Homestay

Die Unterkunft ist aufgrund der schönen, vielfältigen Bepflanzung ein grünes Paradies. Den Gastgeber Ruwan haben wir aufgrund seiner liebenswerten und hilfsbereiten Art sofort in unser Herz geschlossen. Seine Frau hat auf Anfrage fantastisches, landestypisches Abendessen zubereitet.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Ruwan kümmert sich richtig herzlich um seine Gäste. Zimmer sehr sauber Ausblick auf die Umgebung mit Tieren (Affen, Pfau, Streiffenhörnchen) Super Frühstück.

Wat een warme, vriendelijke host is Ruwan. We werden verwelkomd met ‘coconut junglestyle’ De kamers zijn groot, mooi en schoon. We hebben genoten van de rust in de hangmatten en de vele bloemen en planten. Vooral boven was fijn omdat het daar lekker licht was. ‘S Ochtends een lekker ontbijt, de ene dag Sri Lankaans, de andere dag westers. Hij deed er alles aan om ons te helpen, vroeg wat we graag wilden zien en doen. Zo bracht hij ons met de tuktuk overal heen. ‘s Avonds hebben we heerlijk verse vis gegeten, in de ochtend zijn de kinderen gaan surfen in Weligama. (Helaas is de zee daar meer vervuild) In de middag hebben we een uitstapje gemaakt naar Galle. Dank je wel voor het fijne verblijf Ruwan 🙏🏻 Echt een aanrader deze plek!

Un oasis de tranquilidad en Mirissa. Cerca de todo, pero lo suficientemente lejano para descansar sin ruidos. Ruwan es un espléndido anfitrión y muy cercano, ayudando en todo lo que puede. Los desayunos muy ricos, con mucha variedad y platos típicos de Sri Lanka. Además te recibe con el frigorífico lleno de agua para el día a día. Sin duda volvería a alojarme si vuelvo a Mirissa.

Fantastic stay. We are couple on Sri Lanka trip from India. Ruwan is very nice person and very very honest and helpful. I stayed in first floor room. Newly constructed and very comfortable room with Ac , refrigerator, kitchen, dryer and very clean bathroom with clean bed sheets and towels. Very happy with my stay. I recommend this place for everyone to come and spend time. Coconut beach, parrot beach is 600 mtrs walking and Marissa beach is 900 mtrs walking. 100% recommend to stay with Ruwan. Thank you

Ruwan and his family were very careful to ensure us a nice stay. Room is big and clean, beads were confortable, hot water at the bathroom. Good location, minutes walking to the beach and restaurants nearby.

I had such a great stay at Ruwan's Jungle homestay. The rooms are beautifully decorated, Ruwan is a wonderful kind man, the beds are comfy, the location is about 10 minute walk to the main beach area, there is a rooftop where you can see across the entire canopy of the jungle and see some cool animals, cute chipmunks run around the garden area, the breakfast is tasty, the wi-fi is good, the showers have hot water, Ruwan also picked me up and dropped me off where I wanted to be before and after my stay and he also helped me get a scooter from his friend at a good price for a very well maintained bike.
