Spacious, luxury of a parking spot,great value for money

Heating system a bit tempremental,

Well equipped, particularly enjoyed the coffee machine for morning drinks

The sheet was too small across the double bed which is actually 2 singles pushed together and we were having to keep reattaching when trying to sleep. Very comfortable beds though and clean

Perfect location, lovely property and to have your own parking spot in the middle of Whitby was amazing !!

Swale's cottage was a perfect base for our Whitby stay. Perfectly located to come back to after lovely water walks & comfortable and cosy for an early night in. The streamme services A Why were a bonus. And it was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. And hope to be back soon. Stacey, Luke & Brenda)

The cottage was a great size and comfortable to relax. Large Fridge-freezer, coffee machine, decent WiFi, great location with parking.

It did get a bit hot from the settings that were preset in the boiler but easily sorted!

The cottage had everything you needed and the location was great

The beds were not comfortable and the shower was not powerful

Every thing was thought of including disposable slipers and all cleaning materals.

Whitby was lovley. The location of the property is great. Very central which was a big help due to restricted mobility.

Disappointed in the overall cottage. Not very cosy and mismatched furnture and deco. Kitchen had loads of empty cupboards??? We didnt cook in the cottage at all. Everywhere was very dated and needs a complete refurb. Obviosuly old photos in the ad. The cottage is very tired and needs mainteance. It was very noisy one night but we were told by the people next door that was unusual. That was unforuntante as one of us was poorly during our stay. The front door is disgraceful and didnt give us a sense of security as we are two older ladies. Needs painting and fixing. The owner contacted us after messaging and was very rude. We found a used medical dressing near the towels on arrival which didnt inspire confidence. we took a photo of it. We informed owner and he sent an apology. Its a shame as the cottage could be made to be very nice and would fetch a much higher rental price We wouldnt book again.
