Cosy cottage full of character in lovely quiet location on edge of North Yorkshire moors. The owners popped in to make sure everything was okay for us, which was lovely

Wonderful, charming two bedroom cottage in a beautiful little town. A great escape to the countryside with many hamlets dotted across the area. Really tranquil evenings! Highly recommend

As 3 of us were ‘seniors’ we did find the stairs a bit of a trial, but hey,ho it added to the character

The cottage was spotless, well equipped and comfortable. The location was excellent, 50 metres from a good pub and all days out were easy to reach. Easy on road parking right outside the property was a bonus. We also had use of a private garden which we used. The host also paid us a visit to make sure everything was OK, which was also a nice touch. Would recommend to anyone as it has everything you need for a relaxing holiday exploring local towns and the moors.

Loved the quaint little village, friendly neighbours and cosy pub. Facilities in the cottage were great, very enjoyable stay and nice welcome from the owner. Would love to revisit soon

A lovely cottage with everything you could need, very clean and comfortable, in a quiet little village with lovely walks, the enclosed garden was nice to sit and in kept very well maintained

We love The Cottage and will definitely be booking again. Mark and Claire were excellent hosts and gave very clear instructions on how to locate and access the property. The welcome gift of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk, bread and apple juice was a lovely touch. The Cottage certainly lives up to the description and we had a lovely time. It's a great location and having the pub within a minute from the front door is a great bonus!
