"Excellent"

Thanks val for sorting our booking. Location was superb ..ocean front ! Quiet and private with just the sounds of the ocean. The wood Fire place kept us toasty warm on a cool night. A few friendly weka and pukeko dropped by to say hello.

"Food for the soul, a great place to chill out."

Lovely, clean and comfortable accommodation, private location with an amazing view. Could walk off property straight down onto the beach. The bird life was a pleasure to see and listen to, particularly the dawn chorus from the Tui in trees on the property.

We could not get internet access and no signal to use phone for making calls.

"Fantastic."

Paradise. Just beautiful. Spacious and lovingly decorated. Has everything one might need. The location is The Dream. Just a few steps from the most beautiful beach. It was even possible to walk to the Tavern in Charleston for dinner. We loved everything about it. What a beautiful place to stay.

"Superb"

It is a lovely place to unwind. Very peaceful. It is a lovely 3.5km walk to the Tavern along the cycle path (some still being constructed). There is a fabulous beach for long walks.

Due to the location it is best suited to travellers who have a car. Nearest groceries are either Westport or Greymouth. Some added screens on windows/doors would be good to keep the sandfies out and let the sound of the sea/breezes in.

"Perfect beach location"

Fantastic location right by the beach. 9 miles of it to walk! Cottage well equipped. Lovely bedroom furniture and comfy too. Scones and coffee much appreciated! Hosts very welcoming.

The weather didn't give us the best chance to fully explore but the area needed the rain!
