The location is just so special direct on a lonely beach, the cottage beautifully kept with all you need, and the owners from next door very friendly an were even created with scones and jam A local not to miss out on

The peace and tranquillity. The scenery and proximity to the beach. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and helpful.

We had a long stay and loved everything. If looking for something to add to the experience -would be a washer/drier for those staying a long time when the weather is wet.

"Closest holiday home to the beach"

Amazing location!! The beach is right in front of the door and view from the door is exceptional. Pukeko, Weka, Tui, and other native birds are surround us. Wood fire makes the place very comfy and cozy. Beautiful cushions, curtains, and antique coffee table which I loved. The owner is very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed talking with her about life! Weather for us wasn't good unfortunately, but I'm sure you would see unforgettable sunset and millions of stars if it's clear. We will definitely come back and try to see it next time soon.

If there were shampoo in the bathroom, it'll be very appreciated. I could tell the outside bath tub hasn't been used for a while, but I would be super happy if I could enjoy it watching ocean waves with glass of wine.

"Great beach front cottage"

The location was amazing, right on the beach with full access to the sand. The cottage was spacious for 2 people and the view of the ocean from the bedroom was great.

The toilet was not as clean as we would have expected. The sheets also smelled a bit fusty and had old stains on them. There was no heating other than the wood stove so you have to be good at lighting one to stay warm in the cooler months.
