Superb beachfront property large grass lawn back garden and secured by gates both front and back so perfect for the dog…cottage well heated comfy beds massive lounge and great views from the bedrooms

Loved the house and its location right on the beach. Host was excellent and very attentive. Great and dog friendly. Also lots of stuff and nick nacks, everything you need for your stay.

There was alot of damage to walls/paintwork and window ledges etc also ps2 advertised but no way to connect to tv. Kids were very disappointed. There was no way to pull out the bed for kids to sleep on as door was in the way so one of the kids had to sleep on the couch.

The location was lovely with views of the sea.

The washing machine/dryer. Didn’t dry the clothes very well. But that being said, did have a clothes horse.

Seaview

House was not clean. Parking space tight Only one bathroom which was not on same floor as bedrooms even though house is listed as having 2 bathrooms on Booking.com. Only one toilet functional Cluttered with owner's belongings. Only one key for four guests

Perfect location on the seafront. Ideal for coastal walks/runs. The views are amazing. There are some beautiful walking routes nearby like Orlock Point. We will definitely be booking this property again.

"Mixed bag - read the reviews!"

This property is a mixed bag. OK for those who are not fussed about dust and lack of cleanliness. House is about a mile from harbour, a metre from the beach. Great views. There is car parking next to the house. Bed linen appeared clean and surfaces in kitchen and bedroom were generally clean. Price was low for a house. Main bathroom downstairs (bath and shower) and WC upstairs.

Main problem was the lack of cleaning before our arrival, e.g. dust round staircase and skirting boards. Obviously not been done for some time. Front of elderly washing machine had not been wiped. The main bathroom had a toilet seat that was badly damaged, 95% of people would have replaced. Previous visitors had noted similar points which owners had presumably read but not acted on. Long steep stairs would make it difficult for some visitors. Entrance off main road is tricky, do your research beforehand.
