"Stylish holiday stay with great facilities."

Very well equipped - lovely private south and west facing deck overlooking burn, perfect for afternoon and evening relaxing and drinks. Welcome pack brilliant and bed very comfortable. Great walks from doorstep and local pub and cafe in a stones throw.

Found it a bit small - but manageable for a short stay.

Lovely location

It was a shame there wasn’t a seating area to watch tv (only in bed) which we don’t ever do at home- just personal preference .

"The perfect retreat"

There was nothing to not like, the accommodation was nothing short of perfect, the location was stunning and all the little extras were just icing on an already beautiful cake. In pictures it looks quite small but in reality it's the perfect size for a long walking weekend (we had 2 adults and 2dogs staying here). The owners were super helpful with everything from places to walk to places to eat and were helpful without being overbearing. We really couldn't have asked for more!

Everything was perfect! Great location, very peaceful and quiet but very easy to explore from with lots of places of interest close by. The train station in the village was handy too if we didn't want to use the car. The cottage was warm, cosy, comfortable, and very clean. Everything has been really well thought about, and the attention to detail was amazing. We loved the personal touches, too. Certainly would recommend to friends and family and would definitely visit again.
