River Cottage at Old Post Office

Wow!!!! We chose to spend our honeymoon here and what an incredible place this is, the hosts ( Mychael, Lisa and Izobel) are just amazing, the attention to detail is incredible. Everything is so beautiful and furnished to a very high standard. There is nothing at all you could fault. Dogs go free, and there were even gifts for Freddie when we arrived. So many extras provided. I would definitely recommend ordering the breakfast hamper it was delicious. We will definitely be coming back and will be recommending to all our friends. Thank you so much.

Everything! The location is fabulous, right on the river, the cottage is quirky, very unique and has everything you could want in the small but very well thought out kitchen. The village is small but the pub and food there is excellent. This place is perfect for a few days to totally unwind, shut off and just relax. The hosts are amazing, so approachable and the goodbye bag at the end of our trip was a beautiful little extra touch.

Perfect for a couple, a little tight on indoor relaxing space for two friends. Outdoor deck space is lovely.

River cottage is stylish, compact, well equipped, and in a beautiful setting. The owners are welcoming, unobtrusive and pay great attention to detail. Really excellent. Recommended.

Outstanding hospitality! We’ve never been offered so many lovely touches and thoughtful treats in all our travels. This is a lovely little spot for two with privacy and a beautiful outdoor space where you can listen to the river rushing by. Quirky and funky with everything you need for a cozy stay. The hosts have an amazing eye for detail and are very helpful. They genuinely want you to enjoy your time.

Honestly, unfortunately, it was the weather; we didn’t get to fully take advantage of all the hosts offered because it rained constantly. But! There is an outdoor bar with a roof, so… Also, had no idea how well we’d be treated so we stopped at a grocery store on the way for breakfast items. Trust me, you don’t need to. Enjoy!
