Hin Kong Sunset Beach Front House

Location, location, location. Staying right by the beach was just amazing. Waking up in the morning and having a coffee and our breakfast at the table on the deck was just lovely. The kayak under the house and the hammock was definitely my 6 year olds favourite. A few toys, card game and snorkelling gear was a special touch. The cabin was very clean and well decorated, with adequate amenities. The communication between owner and staff (checking and cleaning) were excellent. You had the choice to have your cabin cleaned every day, which doesn't happen in a lot of other places around the world. The fridge had a bottle of cold drinking water, and 2 drinks which was also a really lovely touch. It's all the small things that make our stay super comfortable and enjoyable.

If I have to nitpick there were only twin things that bothered me but was not the end of the world: The fan cage needs fixing as it was super noisy when on, I have to adjust the cage numerous of times for it not to rattle, but with a quick fix it will be fine. The cabin might need to get another AC in the living room as it was quite hot. The sign to the cabin entrance definitely needs to be bigger and more visible from the road in both directions as we passed it almost every time coming back with our car.

Great location by the beach, spacious villa , equipped with everything you need

Piece of paradise. Amazing view, great cozy bungalow with really nice porch. We absolutely loved it.

You can hear the road a little and the beach/sea is beautiful but not the best to swim in. However, I would definitely still stay here knowing both those things. Feels very minor compared to what you get. And the road wasnt noisy when sleeping.

What an absolute gem of a place. We loved our short stay and wished we had been able to stay longer. The hosts communicated really well, and check-in was easy. They also organised our taxi from the pier. Great location. We loved the big veranda and the hammock. We took the kayak out multiple times a day, too. The kitchen has all that you need, and you receive complimentary drinking water. Air con in the bedroom and the ceiling fan was great in the sitting room. TV has Netflix. Wifi great. 7/11 is just a short walk away and some fantastic restaurants nearby. One massage shop, too. We also grabbed a cab and headed to Muay Thai boxing in Thong Sala. Lots of taxis pass through the area. We can not fault the place and loved every minute. We would definitely return if we headed back to Koh Phangan.

To be REALLY picky, the sun loungers need replacing in Bungalow 2, but other than that, there are no negatives! They were usable but it would be better if they were replaced.

Perfect Location for a stay on the island. The beach is where you want to be. Many great restaurants and cafes around, as well as a good location to explore the surroundings. The house is safe for children and provides quiet and calm with views you won't forget. The extra with all this is certainly the professional and heart-warming staff. There is an answer to every question and positive attitude which is contagious, thank you for your hospitality.

I hated everything about this place!!

First of all it was dirty not what the pictures looked like, especially inside, my partner didn’t even take a shower it was so old it needed an update from the price, I was happy to put up with that until we got robed, someone came into the place while I was taking a shower with my two year old daughter and stole my bag and my wallet with a lot of cash and cards, it made my feel so nervous and scared as I’m back at home and still feel uneasy as something could of happened to us both, definitely not a safe space!! And they tell you to just leave your bags under the house if you turn up early, hell no!!

The host was contactable via WhatsApp and very responsive each time we messaged. Met us on time and arranged for us to be met at the port and transported to the beach house. The beach house is 'incredible value for money' and the location is perfect! Couldn't ask for more for a beach front and vibe bungalow, that was very comfortable and fully equipped. Due to it being meters from the water front, you can enjoy a cooling breeze in the evening, or watch the storms out at sea with a glass of wine on the balcony. Perfect! Restaurants, bars and shops are minutes away by walking down the beach or via the road.
