Hin Kong Sunset Beach Front House

Amazing property! It’s private and quiet, with stunning palm trees facing the ocean. The house is beautifully decorated with style, and the service was friendly and welcoming.

We had some fruit flies in the toilet, though the staff was attentive and tried to help out. Also, people should be aware that the ocean here is very seasonal, with strong low tide seasons where the water recedes significantly.

Fantastic location. Rustic wooden house with long verandah literally on the beach. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, daily cleaning.

Small problem with hot water for a couple of days but staff were eager to solve all problems and bought a brand new water heating unit. There was a TV but not connected to TV stations. But Netflix was available.

The property itself is beautiful! The beach house is directly on the beach and you have such a pretty sunset view from the porch, it’s incredible. Also the owners were super nice, you’re always able to ask them something either on WhatsApp or in person whenever you needed to and they instantly reached out with help. They even brought the scooter we rented right to the house. We really felt a little like home here, so comfortable and clean. Also the Aircon was SO good and worked without problems (for us a really good and strong cooling aircon (16C) was so hard to find in Thailand).

We had little ants in the kitchen on the counters but it didn’t really bother us, just put food away or lids on top and you’re fine.

Good location, next to a lot of everything. Good housekeeping, very friendly, did dishes and always accommodated. Espresso machine with free coffee. Decently comfortable mattress, choice of pillow thickness.

The AC was only in the bedroom, nowhere in the listing did it say this. It constantly turned off with errors too! Water in bathroom sink completely backed up. There was no hot water anywhere but the shower. Faucet in the kitchen faced the wrong way and wouldn't keep position when rotated. Bathroom constantly smelled horrible. There was no internet in the unit, had to bum wifi from the adjacent cottage, but reception was spotty, wouldn't work in the bedroom and constantly disconnected. Smart TV didn't work because of this either. "Fully equipped kitchen" is a joke - no microwave, junk from the 80s appliances, eclectic mix of useless plates, all dull knives. Pots and pans had their non-stick coating off, making them completely useless, unless I want a lethal dose of PFAS (see picture). Owner said they would fix faucet, sink & internet, did nothing. Walked in without knocking or announcing themselves, scaring my wife. Everything is extremely old, house is tiny, yet filled with "decorative" junk (that we had to move out of the way) that would make a homeless encampment look posh.

Very friendly staff. Taxi was organized from the pier, and check-in was smooth. Perfect view to the beach, great terrace to hang out in a hammock, or do some remote work behind the desk. Quiet scenery, while very good restaurants and bars are in the walking distance. Will be back for sure!

First day the kitchen floor was not properly cleaned, and found some pieces of glass with my feet. Also, some water was leaking on kitchen floor. Just a misfortunate case. After the cleaning next day, everything was perfect.

We stayed for 2 weeks and loved everything about the house. Situated on the north end of Hin Kong beach, the house feels very private, with little footfall. The large veranda is incredible, we spend blissful hours on the hammock and couch. At out time of visit there was a constant breeze, making the temperature outside very comfortable. The interior is nicely decorated and very well stocked with everything you need, including the kitchen. Everything worked, and it was very clean.The house really delivered the best of two worlds: the space and privacy of a holiday home and the maintenance service of a resort. It got cleaned every day, towels and bed linen got changed, coffee and water was restocked, beach strip was cleaned everyday, and whenever we needed something the house keeper was at hand. We would not hesitate to come back.

Nice place well équiped. A little paradise. Just be aware that the sea is very low. Not à place to swim. Restaurant close and à 7 eleven which is convenient

Only gripe was the “nat” infestation in the bathroom. The property manager said she would address this with the owners immediately
