The location, the cosyness, the cleanliness - we loved everything about the cottage. Perfect for our stay. We loved that we could directly access the lake by going out of the back gate, and within 2 minutes walk we were on the beach. Such a fantastic location. The host provided us with a lot of info upfront, so checking in and obtaining the keys was a doddle. He also gave us a list of recommended local spots to visit, as well as dog friendly places to eat and drink, which was brilliant for us, who'd taken a very placid but excited-to-be-on-holiday Beagle to the coast. We loved the traditional feel of the cottage, which made you remember you are having a seaside break, and it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed as a guest. Brilliant stay, and we'll look to stay here again on our next visit to Mablethorpe.

What an amazing find this was. Such a beautiful little cottage, well equipped and perfect location right by the beach. The property was very clean, dog friendly and the bed was lovely and comfy. We stayed for one night, but wish it had been longer as it was such a relaxing stay. Easy walk to local pubs and places to eat and the locals were all very friendly. The enclosed garden looks out over a lake. Will definitely be returning again.

We were both absolutely delighted with this gorgeous gem of a place at a fabulous location. The cottage itself is well laid out and is super cosy, especially with the added log fire feature. The location is wonderful, right on the lakeside with a lovely view from the kitchen window and only a minutes walk to the beach. Fabulous for our little dog, Phoebe, who loved it. There is a large carpark conveniently positioned only a few yards away with a fish and chip shop and nice dog friendly bar 2 minutes away. The stretch of beach close by is stunning and offers an easy, pleasant walk to Sutton on Sea. We are back next month, booked by my husband and simply cannot wait. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this fabulous place, even better and cosier than described. Absolutely gorgeous!

Stairs to upper bedroom very narrow so need to navigate with care, but well worth it as the bedroom you reach is gorgeous with a super king size bed which is exceptionally comfy

The cottage was quaint but from the outside could do with TLC was very pleased once inside the cottage as looked cosy.

We found the stairs difficult as very narrow and we are in 60s also getting out of bath with no hand rail wasn’t easy the water pressure for shower wasn’t great either.

Brilliant location. Ideal for my new puppy to walk around the lake accessed by a gate in the garden and easy access to the beach Top bedroom fantastic, lovely big bed. Clean and tidy and well equipped with everything you need.

Bedroom two a little tight down the side of the bed, but ideal for one person.

The cottage was amazing, exceptionally clean, really comfy beds, great cooking facilities & really close to beach for dog walks.

Great location near the boating lake and the sea front with town Center only a few min walk. Log burner was really nice touch after a cold walk.

Stairs are steep, but we knew before we booked so not a major issue. Neighbours dogs bark and jump at fence as you come and go but never heard them otherwise. (You can’t control your neighbours)

Being there in winter was lovely. A very cosy property with vast empty beaches on the doorstep. Perfect for my dog and mental health. There is a pretty lake to walk around at the rear aswell, giving a really nice view to the back of the cottage.

Having a shower was tricky.
