Lovely sitting area & kitchen. Great location.

Heating totally inadequate for v cold week end. Thermostat not working & boiler controls were locked . Couldn’t use main bedroom as only 14oC registered & no heating upstairs. Couldn’t reach to turn shower on without getting a chair. Shower head was loose so had to hold it. ( tightened later by myself ) Bath too narrow to stand for shower safely. Wood burner was lovely but couldn’t lock the door. Advice to buy logs locally a bit harsh !

We loved everything. Our second visit here. Stayed for two nights this time. Exceptionally clean, fabulous communication and the location is just PERFECT! Just feels so homely and welcoming and is SO well equipped. You can bet that if you have forgotten something, that Fisherman’s Cottage will have it in the cupboard!☺️

What a beautiful cottage, we had a fabulous stay, a real home from home. We felt so comfortable & relaxed, the cottage has anything you need and more. The bed in the master bedroom is super comfy, we slept so well. The outdoor space is an added bonus, great size plus safe & secure for our fur baby 🐶 The cottage is tucked away from the town & was lovely and quiet, car park adjacent for a small fee, 1 min walk to the beach which is absolutely gorgeous. We loved our stay and we will be visiting again and recommending to family & friends. Carl & vanda are perfect hosts & made our stay extra special 🤗 super helpful, very informative & great communication, thank you.

We had an amazing time. We had everything we needed. clean and comfortable beds and the kids loved feeding the ducks around the lake every morning and having the beach just a minute walk away plus the shops just 15 mins away made it perfect for our family. We'll certainly be returning in the summer as this lovely cottage is a real gem for families. Thankyou for letting us stay and we can't wait to return in the summer

Location perfect for what we needed.

Fab location... access to the park through the back gate.. beach 1 minute walk away. Enclosed back yard perfect for dogs.. very cosy cottage. Large comfy bed. Smaller bedroom downstairs.. everything you need. Hosts very communicative lots of info, especially if you have a dog. Also very quiet.

The only negative is parking.. but that was OK.. just had to park 30 secs walk up the road.
