We absolutely LOVED our stay at Fisherman’s Cottage. It’s just perfect. So well equipped, feels like home from home and everything is spotlessly clean. It’s a perfect location for the beach which is just over the road. Loads of great parking, beautiful duck pond. It’s beautifully furnished with comfy sofas, comfy beds and a beautiful inglenook fireplace. It was our first visit and we were thrilled with everything. Communication from the host/owner is superb and the housekeeper Vanda is brilliant. We loved it so much we booked again while we were there and can’t thank Carl enough for letting us and our dogs stay at this beautiful cottage. Thank you!😍

Just Perfect! A beautiful home. Clean cosy comfortable. The location is perfect, a secure back yard backs onto a lake and you’re a stone throw from the beach. The host is lovely and very helpful. Providing information about local places and events as well as pet friendly locations which was really helpful. The beautiful log fire was our favourite addition. The bed was comfortable, big spacious living area and kitchen. The locals are really friendly and welcoming. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will be back next year! Thank you so much!!

The Cottage was outstanding!! Great location, cute and comfortable!! Very clean and safe and secure for our fur baby!! We will definitely be returning for another visit!! :)

The gorgeous cottage was very welcoming and a home from home feeling, very well maintained and clean, all the things you need for your stay is thought of, lovely area, close to the beach for an excellent walk, locals are friendly

The Location it was so close to the beach and the amenities, walkable to the town, the cottage was lovely and Cozy, lovely log burner, comfortable bed, just very quaint, nicely decorated, just had a lovely relaxed holiday with lovely weather, would highly recommend.

The stairs are abit steep but we never seemed to mind as its a lovely cottage, no parking outside, we parked abit further up, we did get parking, so all in all there was nothing really that we didn't like about the beautiful cottage. Thank you

The cottage was comfortable and it was good that it had a secure yard for our dogs. The duck pond was good for exercising them in the early morning and evening. The lovely sandy beach was close by. Takeaway restaurants were within walking distance.

The road outside had no parking but there was free street parking and a car park close by. Consequently there was a bit of bag carrying. The large block of flats on the opposite side of the road detracted from the location. The bedrooms were small but the beds comfortable. The price was a bit on the high side.

really comfortable and cosy cottage in a lovely location great to sit outside with a glass of wine and look out at the lake with loads of ducks and geese. or even just sitting inside with a glass of wine on the comfortable sofas. everything you need for a lovely couple of days away would definitely consider returning ☺️
