The Ultimate Romantic Getaway! Cosy Cottage surrounded by Wildlife with Lakeside views, Log Burner & miles of Sandy Beach on your Doorstep! All at the Best

A delightful cottage that has everything you could wish for, for a self-catering break. Well equipped and cozy, every little detail seems to have been considered. 'Home from home' can be a overused description, but it really is ! The lakeside location, only a couple of minutes walk from a clean, dog friendly beach, was ideal for us, and the enclosed patio was a perfect place to chill out, in the evening. The dog loved it, too! No on-site car park, but a public one, literally a minute's walk down the road, that does not charge for overnight parking. Within walking distance of central Mablethorpe (a pub and chip shop are close at hand, if you don't fancy walking) but far enough away to escape from crowds-particularly after boating finishes on the lake, when the only sounds are the ducks and the seagulls. We would definitely go back, again.

Quaint and comfortable but stairs very steep for us being a bit older. Only one toilet so had to come down the stairs. Great kitchen with everything you could wish for but the lounge was quite dated and the bathroom needs an overhaul. Rising damp with paper and plaster peeling. It is an old building that needs a bit of investment.

Country cottage by the sea , cosy and well equipped. Beautiful fireplace too .

Parking is nearby but some people like to have their cars parked within the property.

Bathroom needs big makeover . Couldn’t shower properly . I t needs bath taking away because can’t use anyway and a shower cubicle. Also worried about using upstairs lovely bedroom because stairs too steep especially if you get up in night

Good Afternoon Carl, as Dog lovers, we were searching for a holiday cottage that was not only pet friendly but was quality within our budget and had a dog friendly beach within 100 metres of where we were staying. When we found `Fisherman's Cottage`, we looked no further. Your property is a true `home from home' and to sit outside on the patio watching the geese and ducks go past on the boating lake with a glass of wine and the best and most reasonably priced fish and chips we have ever tasted, (from the shop at the end of the road),  provided a tranquil end to the day, Thank you Carl and Vanda for such a wonderful relaxing holiday. We would have no hesitation in recommending your property to anyone who wants to visit the area and stay in the 'hidden treasure of Mablethorpe'. We will definitely be back. A brilliant getaway for you and your dog! We had a brilliant time! Location – it doesn't get any better than this! Situated just a stone's throw from the beach, our morning and afternoon was a gentle reminder of the beauty of coastal living. The convenience of being able to stroll to the shore within minutes made our stay incredibly special. The proximity to the beach was unparalleled. My dog loved it! The Cottage - As soon as we stepped inside, we were enveloped in warmth – both from the inviting decor and the crackling log burner. And speaking of cozy, my dog couldn't get enough of snuggling up by the fireplace! Watching him blissfully curled up by the fire was a heartwarming highlight of our stay, and perfect way to finish his birthday celebration! The cottage itself was impeccably maintained and thoughtfully decorated. Every corner exuded seaside charm, from the nautical accents to the tasteful furnishings. It truly felt like a home away from home, with all the amenities one could ask for. But what truly sets Fisherman's Cottage apart is the attention to detail and the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. From the moment we booked, communication was seamless, and upon arrival, I was welcomed with thoughtful gestures such as biscuits, logs that were enough for our one night stay, and recommendations about things to do. In conclusion, mine and my dig stay at Fisherman's Cottage was nothing short of exceptional!!! The unbeatable location, cozy ambiance, and unparalleled hospitality made it a getaway to remember.
