"Ok visit few small improvements would help tremendously"

5.0

Really lovely character cottage great to see inside it. Immaculately clean spoke with the cleaner she was lovely. Within walking distance of train station and shops.

The communication was awful really let it down. The loo is downstairs, bed rooms upstairs, second bedroom is more of a large single. Windows don't open so a little stuffy, little natural light need lights on early morning in living room area. Entrance through rear door in dark with confusing comms was a pain. Lots of cleaning products, no lack of comms on how to use ! Tons of hand cream and wash but no shower gels, no coffee disaster ! There were pods but without milk no good, we got in late up early walked to shop ( it's not far no point as owners again comms) and the kitchen radiator leaked ! I prefer no shoes indoors couldn't in there which after a big event is not great. Pls see my positives there are some !

Cute, homey cottage with good facilities in a great location for exploring Hadrian’s Wall and surrounds.

Better reading lights in the living room would have been nice.

"Moles - a little cottage that's big on charm."

9.0

Lovely little cottage, very clean and well appointed. No problems getting in due to the excellent instructions on finding the property and the keys in a lock box. Bed very comfortable, kitchen while small had all the necessities (electric hob and oven) for breakfast and evening meals, helped by the very excellent farm shop just across the road. Lots of little walks around Stockfield, and a lovely pottery next door with a genial proprieter who gave us some tips for places to visit - Corbridge was a delight. Didn't meet the hosts directly but all comms post booking were quickly followed up and nothing was a problem. Hope to be back again!

Parking was sometimes an adventure as the main A695 runs past the property near to a blind bend, and the side road is very narrow, those with larger vehicles might find it challenging to get parked close by especially if returning late but that's not criticism as it's the same for the residents!

Nicely renovated old cottage. Lovely fireplace. Garden good. Location good for travelling round the area.

Only toilet downstairs was a pain at night. No pub within walking distance.

"A lovely quiet place to stay, perfectly located for exploring the local area."

10.0

The location is excellent- close to Corbridge and Hexham as well as Hadrian’s Wall and Newcastle to the East. It’s a warm, welcoming, simply furnished and cosy place to stay for a few days.

Couldn’t find the wifi key…
