Mole Cottage

The cottage is in an ideal location for visiting Prudhoe Castle, Corbridge, and Hexham. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms are nice and the beds are very comfy. The garden looks lovely, due to the weather we didn't get to use it. A very quiet location, ideal for a break.

The bathroom is downstairs, so visits in the night involve stairs.

Need blackout curtains in the bedroom. A few essentials were missing in the kitchen, eg chopping board, drainer.

Was much nicer than staying in the hotel. Lovely cottage a d felt homely

Owners maintained the character of the property keeping it simply decorated with everything you need to be comfortable. There was a lovely simplicity about the whole thing I loved it!

Hard to improve on perfection however I like a bath as well as a shower just not enough space. Arrived in the early hours due to frenetic day before setting off with last minute unavoidable changes. On arrival would have liked to be able to make a hot drink and maybe couple of biscuits. Decent coffee was provided however a couple of sugar sachets (unhealthy I know it’s a powerful habit to break!) and maybe couple of single packets of biscuits would have been most welcome.

The cosiness, the traditional latch doors, comfy sofas and beds, the peace and quiet despite being close to a road (the front garden shelters the cottage) and the log burner. And the owners, who were so helpful prior to our trip.

I loved it, no negatives here
