Amazing Cabin - Close To Ski Resort and Village

The location was amazing, the host was beyond great with any questions I had and very friendly

The coffee machine didn't work, the facilities were a bit dirty, cigarette butts in the bbq pit

Everything was amazing A++++++

the only thing I had to get used to was the tight parking, but we made it work.

This listing is old. The pictures listed are deceiving. The cabin is needs to be updated. My biggest concerns are it’s dangerous and there are at least 2 major safety issues. It should NOT be rented. The upstairs window screen is completely missing (right over a bed). A child could easily fall from this window and be serious injured/ die. The stairs have staples protruding out. This has been a complaint for over a year (see the reviews- which I had only skimmed over before I rented because the cabin has 8 stars. Not sure how that could be possible.) This cabin is filthy. The vents are nasty with caked on filth. The spider webs have been there so long they’re caked with dirt. The stairs coming up to the cabin (which are the only way up) are unsteady- there are 35 stairs up. There’s several that wobble. Again. Dangerous. There are old solar lights out on the stairs that don’t work. At night it’s pitch black outside and you can’t see anything- and the stairs wobble. There’s NO AC. The listing doesn’t mention this. I believe they omit this because they want people to rent. There are a couple (2) fans available to help cool the property down but even those are ridiculous. One fan was falling apart as I tried to move it around and was completely missing the cover for the motor in the back. My BIGGEST DISGUST was the shower upstairs. There’s a LINEN shower curtain hanging IN the shower, which doesn’t drain well. This means it collects water from every one who’s used it- and means we’re standing in the bacteria/ fungus/ urine/ body fluids of everyone who’s showered in it before us. This is UNHYGIENIC. It’s easy to replace a shower curtain with a dollar tree one. The paint is also peeling from the deck floor outside and it’s possible to get splinters from it. There are a lot of light switch plates in the house, but you can’t figure out where the switch goes to. The front door bolt doesn’t catch well. It looks like it’s being stripped.

I loved that it was so peaceful and close to everything.

Very cute cabin with terrace from which you can see the sunset. Very cozy and nice living room.

There was no Beamer in the house as advertised. No firewood available. The whole house needs an update and deep clean. Especially the kitchen and bathtub are a bit rundown and all the glasses and plates were greasy. There were nails coming out of the stairs which I consider a safety hazard. Neighbours are very close by on both sides and had a bbq with music until 2:00 am.

The coffee maker was a plus it had everything you needed in the kitchen.

The stairs were kind of falling apart, and it was a little unsafe.
