Disappointing Stay - Misleading and Uncomfortable We had high expectations for our stay based on the information in the booklet and prior communication, but unfortunately, our experience was far from what we were promised. Lack of Basic Hospitality: Despite what the information booklet says, we were never asked about our breakfast preferences. Rude Attitude Toward Our Pets: The owner was dismissive and forceful about our dogs, making comments like, “they aren’t going to be all over the furniture, are they?” instead of asking politely. The property claims to be dog-friendly, but the owner insisted that we lock our pets in the living room and away from the bedrooms. Privacy Issues: The shower next to the kitchen had no curtains, leaving us with no privacy, especially given the open window and winter weather. Additionally, there were not enough curtains around the property, leaving us exposed with floor-to-ceiling windows and doors. Unmet Amenities: The info book mentions heated blankets in every room, yet only one room had a blanket, and it didn’t work. Safety Concerns: The courtyard outside the front door was dangerously icy, with no grit put down for safety. The hot tub was far from the property, and there were no working lights around it, making it hazardous to navigate at night. Unclean and Unsafe Conditions: The oven wasn’t clean and produced smoke when we used it, and the floors in the bathrooms were hazardous without mats. The property also had dead bugs and spider webs hanging from the ceiling, along with dust everywhere. Invasive and Unwelcoming Owner: The owner entered the property uninvited while we were there, which made us feel uncomfortable. On the day of our departure, she again forced herself into the property, instead of simply speaking to us at the door. Misleading Property Photos: The pictures on the booking site are very misleading and do not reflect the actual condition or layout of the property.

We loved every bit of our stay at Craigadam. There is 3 bedrooms each with their own full bathroom. Loads of space, lovely and peaceful. Everything we could have possibly needed. Celia is very attentive and helpful. The hot tub is unreal with that view, just beautiful. The area is remote and peaceful but easy enough to reach shops etc if needed by car. Hope to definetly be back! Gutted to be home

The cottage was perfect, spacious, a full bathroom to each bedroom, immaculately clean, the hot tub was a perfect extra and looked out over the beautiful countryside. The family at Craigadam were so friendly and very helpful..... Nothing was a inconvenience, A perfect break away.

Beautiful setting, hot tub was fantastic. Very peaceful and rural. Dog friendly , so we could escape from the fireworks going off all weekend in the city. Lots of provisions inside the house and a lovely welcome package.

This is a unique and quirky property set rurally but in stunning and large grounds. Hot tub is top quality - fab spot view and shower. Great for families and those who love outdoors.,

A great place for a holiday with the family. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to relax, this is the place. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful. Many wonderful places to see. The house is large and clean, you will find everything you need there. The hot tub has a great view. I will definitely want to go back there with my family. 100% Recommended
